Beth Jacob V’Anshei Drildz is a historic Orthodox synagogue rooted in over 125 years of Jewish life in Toronto. Originally founded in 1897 by Polish immigrants in downtown Toronto, our congregation has grown, adapted, and flourished through generations—now calling Bathurst Manor home since 1969.
We are a warm and inclusive community, offering traditional services, lifelong friendships, and a meaningful connection to Torah and Jewish heritage. Though our sanctuary was built to hold 500 worshippers, we treasure the closeness and sincerity of our tight-knit congregation. Whether we’re coming together for Shabbos, celebrating the chagim, or simply sharing a Kiddush, every gathering feels like family.
As the neighbourhood continues to grow and change, we remain committed to revitalizing our shul for the next generation. We welcome families, individuals, and anyone seeking an authentic, heimish place to pray, learn, and belong.
Authentic Tradition – Rooted in Orthodox practice with deep respect for our history
Community Spirit – Welcoming, multigenerational, and member-driven
